Welcome from the Director of Post-16
At Three Spires Sixth form our mission is simple, to ensure all students in our care flourish. That means to be well prepared for each challenge, ready to help others, happy, and to grow the best version of themselves. If a young person joins us, they can expect to be successful. Our Sixth Formers find their success with us by looking at four interrelated things.

Three Spires Sixth Form Ski Trip – Final Week Round-Up As the week draws to a close, it has been a truly memorable ski trip for Sixth Form students. Day 4 brought more challenging conditions, with low cloud and snowfall on the mountain. Despite this, every student skied in the bowl, an impressive achievement in whiteout conditions that required resilience, focus and determination. They rose to the challenge superbly. There were plenty of memorable moments along the way, from impressive speed on the slopes to equipment taking a few knocks, all safely managed and very much part of the ski-trip experience. They also enjoyed celebrating a birthday, a well-earned ice-cream stop in town, and a presentation session where instructors awarded certificates and badges to all students in recognition of their progress and effort. The day ended in classic ski-trip style with an evening at the karaoke bar, a fitting way to mark a successful week. After a final morning on the slopes, they packed up and began the journey home. Spirits are high, memories have been made, and they have been an absolute credit throughout. A brilliant week from start to finish.

Three Spires Sixth Form Ski Trip – Week So Far What an incredible start to the week on the TST Ski Trip. By Day 2, every single student had made it to the top of the mountain, with instructors impressed by the pace of progress and confidence on the slopes. Evenings have been just as memorable, from crêpes in Courmayeur to bowling and team games, with plenty of laughter and friendly competition. A special mention to Mr Askin for a standout bowling win and to Rhys as top scorer. There have been some brilliant moments along the way, including Nel and Chanel showing real resilience on the big bowl, and Prem being heroically rescued by Rhys after a dramatic but safe fall on a blue run. The group continues to be a real credit to the academies, showing fantastic teamwork, positivity and determination both on and off the slopes. #TSSF #FlourishingStudents

Three Spires Sixth Form Ski Trip – Day One on the Slopes What a fantastic first day of skiing in La Thuile. It was, without doubt, one of the strongest first days we have seen on a school ski trip. Our students have been an absolute credit to themselves and to the academies, showing focus, resilience and real enthusiasm throughout the day. After a busy day on the slopes, everyone enjoyed pizza for dinner last night, a well-earned and much-appreciated end to the day. A special mention goes to Leo, who earned our light-hearted 'Moment of the Day' after a spectacular, and completely safe, tumble into the safety netting. Everyone is settling in well, and spirits are high as we look ahead to another exciting day on the slopes. #TSSF #FlourishingStudents

Three Spires Sixth Form Ski Trip – Latest Update Our students are well and truly settled in La Thuile after a busy first evening. Last night saw everyone unpacked, enjoying a hot meal and spending time together with games and activities. It has been a pleasure to see such a positive, supportive and well-mannered group of students making the most of the experience. This morning, they headed out onto the slopes for their first full day of skiing. Most are currently on the nursery slopes and are doing extremely well, with every student already having skied at least one slope. If you would like to follow their progress, many of the students can be seen on the Partineza Impianti live webcam this afternoon, following their lunch break. www.lathuile.it/en/webcam We look forward to sharing more updates as the week continues. #TSSF #FlourishingStudents
